last minute getaway to Batam

Booked our accomodation and tickets just an hour before the ferry was scheduled to depart..

Woke Roman up from his sleep just before that to ask if he was interested to tag along..

It was so last minute! We had to rush like crazy to the Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal..

Our beds came with mosquitoe nets although there weren't any mosquitoes around..
The nets must have been thrown in just to enhance the resort feel of the place..

A very rare shot of Roman because he rarely swims.. What a shame right? We went swimming at the pool instead of the beach because it was not exactly clean.. The beaches at Bintan are way better..
